Christmas, Christmas Everywhere!

I took Emily to see Alvin & the Chipmunks movie at the theatre. So cute!! She really enjoyed it. I enjoy taking her out on little outings like this...it's way better than dragging her out shopping which she is starting to dread!! Em was hanging out with Sophie (her cat) today...we found out that Sophie really likes her new bed...and so does Emily!

Emily had her Christmas concert on Thursday night. So cute to see those little kindergarten kids singing songs! Emily attends the Catholic school so one of the songs was "Mary Had A Baby". I snapped a few pictures before and during the concert.

This is it until Christmas. Hopefully I'll have more pictures to post from Christmas Day. Can't wait!! Merry HoHo!

Our House

As of Saturday, we now have an address for our future house! Construction should start mid-January. They informed us that we will either get a big screen TV with the house or a washer & dryer set. Yay! I'm hoping for the washer & dryer but unfortunately, it's their decision. Our lot is in a cul-de-sac which makes me feel safe knowing that there won't be a constant flow of traffic speeding by the front of our house. We'll also now be in a "younger" community which means Emily will have little people her own age to play with (we found out a school mate of hers will be right across the cul-de-sac from us) and we'll be right across the street from a park. Yay!! I picked a big enough lot for the size of our house so we'll get a decent sized yard. I guess that really won't matter since there will be a park.

Emily is so excited she's already started packing!! I informed her to pack things that she doesn't really need and/or won't play with since we won't be in the house until the spring.
